Displaying posts from chosen category
Featured Posts widget is included with several Thesis skins. It helps you display posts from a chosen category in different ways. Cinchpress, Mockfive, Grind and several other Thesis skins use this widget.
Configuration
It’s fairly easy to configure. It’s available in the widgets section of your WordPress website and needs to be dragged to the chosen section of the website. After you open the widget you can choose different options:

Your choices are: post’s title, post’s date, comments and author, post’s image in different formats, link to read more about the article, and more. The options you select will change what visitors to your site see in your posts.
